Had most of the sandbox machinery already, but it was missing the last 20% of configuration to make it usable in practice. This adds that configuration, as well as env vars `PUDDLE_SANDBOX_EXTRA_RO_DIRS` and `PUDDLE_SANDBOX_EXTRA_EXEC_FILES` for 'weirdo' distros like NixOS. 'AI' Usage
This is a low 'AI' project at this time.
This means LLMs may be used for:
- Reviews (as extra passes)
- Security scanning
But 'AI' is not used for:
- Writing code (rare exceptions to be tagged with
VIBECODED) - Writing documentation
- Writing PR descriptions, commit messages or changelog entries
docPond is a security- and reliability-critical project where quality is very important to me. Setting aside other issues about LLMs in general, I have not found current coding LLMs to meet my personal quality bar for projects like this one, without manual clean-up work that makes the approach unpleasant. I am also appreciating the chance to keep my mental faculties sharp.
With that said, I have found that current LLMs are very capable at catching mistakes, with low energy usage and few downsides. At this time I intend to use GLM 5.3 Flash to review non-trivial changes.
